Harley Davidson Trike Conversions: What Are the Benefits?

What's a trike? It's a three-wheeled motorcycle. Why would anyone want one? Stability. Comfort. Ease of use. As the baby-boomer generation of motorcycle riders gets, let's call it "more mature", they may want less to deal with the possibility of a tip-over, or with the weight of a heavy bike. It also is an attractive option to people who are intrigued by the freedom of a motorcycle, but are afraid to actually get on a two-wheeler. Harley tested and re-tested this model with thousands of hours of riding from experienced riders who gave feedback on everything from airflow to legroom, and they assure us that this model is not a bastard child, it is a true Harley through and through.

The Freewheeler was inspired by the hot rod style. It is a little smaller than the Tri-Glide, a little more on the clean, sleek, and modern side, but Harley claims it has the engine that riders asked for: the V-Twin engine with more low-end torque. Harley also claims it has the footboard riders asked for: full-length, with rubber isolation for riding comfort.

As always, they put in thousands of hours of testing with this one as well, all done by experienced riders, and went back to the drawing boards to improve upon this machine in every way possible.
